Her books include the just released “Animal Bodies: on Death, Desire, and Other Difficulties”, “Bad Tourist”: Misadventures in Love and Travel released in 2020” and “Almost Somewhere: Twenty-Eight Days on the John Muir Trail” released in 2012 and which earned her the title of “The Next Great Travel Writer” by National Geographic Traveler Magazine.
